The Project “Enduring Parental Responsibilities and Their Link to Low Fertility in China” of Prof. Yuying Tong (PI; Chinese University of Hong Kong; Co-Investigators), Prof. Yiqing Gan (Fudan University, Shanghai) und Prof. Tobias Wolbring (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) is being funded by the General Research Fund in Hong Kong for a duration of 30 months. The project will conduct longitudinal analyses using the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) and an integrated factorial survey experiment to investigate the role of perceived parental responsibilities in fertility decisions.
